-
Mini-Angels observes
current Health and Safety and Best Practice Guide-lines.
-
Mini-Angels uses
professional equipment and materials at all times.
-
For safety reasons
Mini-Agels uses high quality face paints from Grimas.
-
All face paints are
water based, non-toxic and hypo-allergenic.
-
Mini-Angels takes
hygiene very seriously and regularly changes water. All brushes and
equipment are cleaned and sterilised after each party/event.
-
Mini-Angels recommends
face paints/make-up be removed with warm water and a soft flannel. Some dark
coloured face paints may leave an initial stain; a small amount of soap or
mild shampoo will remove this.
-
Mini-Angels recommends
glitter/coloured hairspray be removed by washing hair in the usual way with
shampoo - should all be removed in one shampoo.
-
Mini-Angels does not:-
paint a face with cuts, cold sores, open wounds, or anyone with
conjuctivitis, styes, recent chicken pox, heavy colds, flu or severe acne.
This is to prevent infection and cross contamination. But in most cases will be happy to
paint a design on a hand or arm as an alternative, so nobody misses out.
-
Mini-Angels is happy to
paint/make-up the face of anyone over 2 years (no upper age limit!) Under 2 years can have a hand or arm painted or nail art - can't have the little
angel's missing out.
-
If you believe the
person to be painted/have make-up on has sensitive skin, a patch test can be
carried out. It is the guardian's responsibility to inform the face
painter/entertainer in advance, if this is the case.
-
Mini-Angels will only
face paint/make-up/paint nails of willing participants, as the experience
should be an enjoyable one.
-
Mini-Angels has five million pounds public liability insurance and enhanced CRB check and
approval.
